Hi I'm very sorry it has been so long, we normally do our free designs at the end of the season, we just hoped we could get yours in sooner, the designs we give away are good for install up to one year from the time they are won. Again, I'm sorry but it has been extremely busy.

Hello. We don't mind waiting, but we wish we had known that it wouldn't be done as soon as we thought. We understand that you have been busy, which is a very good thing for your business. When I hear nothing from your business though, I get concerned. Plus we had asked for the plan so we could do some of the prep work if possible. We know $$ doesn't go as far as we wish it would, so we had hoped to do some of the easier stuff so the $$ can go to the design & things we can't handle.

Well, here it is Dec 27th, 2017 & I have not heard a word from LawnScapes Virtual Designs since the FB message on OCT 28TH, 6:17PM. I have decided it is time to voice my concern, and the less painful way is to post this on my blog.
My intention is not to badmouth LawnScapes Virtual Designs or the owners. But I do want everyone to know that I am not going to be taken advantage of, or disappear into my front yard of sand, gravel, & weeds.

It is still a safety hazard for my disabled husband, children & anyone trying to come to our front door. You may wonder why we have not done improvements ourselves. We did, in the past.  We expected to have a landscape makeover within a reasonable amount of time. We wanted to save what money we could spare for a professional. Also, neither my husband nor I can physically do it.

For my birthday in June, I received some adorable yard ornaments for when we received our yard makeover.  They are still in the gift bag. For Christmas I again received some adorable yard ornaments for our lawn makeover, which I am in serious concern we will receive.

I believe the owner & I could be really great friends, as we seem to have a lot in common. However, as a company owner, the communication & follow through is lacking. I don’t know if this is due to the fact that we are not *paying* customers, or maybe it’s because we live in the country on a dirt road and there is not as much visual advertising opportunity as a residential area. Our home is not visible from the dirt road. However, there is plenty of public advertising online, in media, etc., and I will use this if needed.

I have had many, many people tell me that they would not tolerate this, that I should do something, and in honesty, it has become somewhat of a joke among my family & close friends that this makeover will happen. Besides the fact, I found out on Aug 29th that LawnScapes Virtual Designs usually does the makeovers in the off-season, & they have a full year to do it, &
I cannot be ugly until I have to.  So they still have a few months. It takes a lot for me to be aggressive, as that is not my nature. I try to be understanding, and I realize that the summer is this company’s busy season. At the same time, I expect a company to communicate & honor its commitments. As you can tell I am the one that has had to contact them most of the time.

I hope the time doesn’t come that I have to get ugly, but I am not a pushover either. I don’t think my requests for the yard makeover are too much, as I am basically leaving the design in the hands of the company designers.

Still no contact on either side, the business or myself. Until I click on the publish tab. And yet again, their busy season will soon begin. It makes me sad that this has happened.
